Tom is an experienced energy sector economist and sell-side investment research analyst with deep expertise in Australia’s oil and gas, power utilities and renewables sectors.

Currently an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in Australia, Tom Heads UBS’ Australian Energy and Utilities Research franchise and in that capacity is one of the top-rated sell-side analysts providing investment research and advice to institutional investors on Australian listed companies operating in the oil and gas, power, renewables and energy sectors and participating in the broader energy transition.

Prior to UBS, Tom spent nearly a decade at Jemena, a $12b unlisted energy infrastructure company where he had responsibility for developing new portfolio growth opportunities through mergers and acquisitions and greenfield developments (all >$100m). Tom has degrees in Economics and Commerce from Monash University.
