Ministers to Address 59th Annual Conference

MINISTERS TO ADDRESS THE CONFERENCE

We are delighted to announce that Senator the Hon Don Farrell, Australia’s Minister for Trade and Tourism, and Mr Yasutoshi Nishimura, Japan’s Minister for Economy, Trade and Industry, will be making keynote speeches on the Japan-Australia business relationship in the context of economic security at the 59th Annual Australia-Japan Joint Business Conference to be held in Tokyo Sunday 9 – Tuesday 11 October 2022.

With a multitude of pressing issues ranging from the Economic Security implications for both our countries of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and regional geopolitical developments, to the ongoing challenge of decarbonising our economies and the need to increase productivity and the diversity of our workforces, and exploit new business opportunities in the post-COVID era – as well as the opportunity to discuss these in person for the first time in three years – there will be plenty for the Ministers and our great line-up of speakers to discuss.
