Energy Partnership Conference Speaker Alert: Ms Sumiko Takeuchi

We are delighted to announce that Ms Sumiko Takeuchi, a member of Japan’s GX (Green Transformation) Implementation Council chaired by Prime Minister Kishida, and one of Japan’s leading experts on climate and energy policy, will be our Japanese keynote speaker at the AJBCC’s conference, Transitioning the Australia-Japan Energy Partnership – Towards a Carbon-Neutral 2050, in Adelaide on 12 April.

As Senior Fellow and Member of the Board of Directors for the International Environment and Economy Institute, Specially Appointed Professor of Tohoku University, and the Co-founder and Co-President of U3Innovations, LLC, she is perfectly placed to discuss Japan’s thinking on the crucial challenges and opportunities in transitioning towards a carbon-neutral future, and how partnership with Australia fits into those plans.

Ms Takeuchi will join with our Australian keynote speaker, the Hon Greg Combet AM, Chair of the Net Zero Economy Agency for a brief dialogue/Q&A session following their formal speeches.

This will be a remarkable opportunity to engage with Ms. Takeuchi and other government and industry leaders as we address the pivotal challenges posed by decarbonisation for Australia-Japan business!
