Trevor Power is Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Net Zero Economy Agency.

Prior he held First Assistant Secretary role of the Industry and Investment Division in the Australian overnment’s Net Zero Economy Agency. The Division helps support industries to reduce their emissions, as well as catalyse investment in regions impacted by the net zero transition. Trevor has previously held the positions of First Assistant Secretary in the Financial System Division and the Macroeconomic Conditions Division in the Australian Treasury.

Prior to moving to the Australian Treasury Trevor was Head of Division, Industry Growth at Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, and spent more than a decade working on carbon pricing in Australia.

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws from Macquarie University.
