AJBCC VP appointed Export Finance Australia Chair

Congratulations to AJBCC Vice-President Debra Hazelton, who has been appointed as the new Chair of Export Finance Australia (EFA).

There is a strong correlation between EFA’s priorities as stated by the Minister in his press release announcing the appointment, and priority areas of the Australia-Japan relationship – notably in critical minerals; infrastructure development, including in the South Pacific; and clean energy transition.

What a great time to appoint a Chair with unique Japan/financial sector expertise! We look forward to supporting her efforts in the new role.
