AJBCC Gender, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarking Study

AJBCC Gender, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Benchmarking Study

Expressions of Interest (EoI) Invited

EoI are now closed.

At the Tokyo Conference last October, it was announced that, as part of the AJBCC’s and JABCC’s commitment to promote Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in our workforces, we would be seeking to underpin our work on diversity and inclusion with a more concrete understanding of where the members of our organisations collectively sat in terms our readiness to embrace more diverse workforces.

By way of follow-up to that commitment, and to mark the milestone of our 60th Annual Conference, the AJBCC is offering to assist AJBCC and JABCC members accelerate the effectiveness of their Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs through a pilot study to benchmark current levels of gender DEI across companies and sectors working in Australia-Japan business and investment. Results will be reported to the conference in aggregate and without specific attribution to individual companies.

We are now seeking expressions of interest in undertaking this project from our members and more broadly from qualified organisations capable of carrying out such a study and reporting back to the 60th Conference. A detailed paper is available here setting out the specifications for such expressions of interest, which would need to be submitted for assessment by close of business on Thursday 15 June.
