60th Birthday Conference: “And the winner is… Melbourne!”

Following the 2022 Annual General Meeting on 27 October, AJBCC President Peter Grey hosted a special Business Networking Reception in Melbourne with members and key stakeholders in the Australia-Japan business relationship. We celebrated the confirmation of Melbourne as the venue for our 60th Joint Business Conference from 8-10 October 2023. David Latina, Deputy Secretary, Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, welcomed the announcement the conference would be held  in Melbourne and outlined some of the Victorian Government’s preliminary thinking on how the conference would fit into a range of Japan-related activities planned for the coming year.

It still feels special to be able to get together face-to-face – members recently returned from this year’s annual conference in Tokyo will remember the masks all too well.
