AJBCC farewells Consul-General, Kiya Masahiko

On 16 September 2022, we gathered for a special luncheon to thank and farewell Japan’s Consul-General in Sydney, Kiya Masahiko before he returns to Japan.

Consul-General Kiya has been an active and thoughtful advocate for Japan in Sydney and will leave large shoes for his successor to fill. He drove collaboration with the AJBCC on a wide range of initiatives and we thank him for his enthusiasm and imagination.

We are sorry to see him go but we were pleased to be able to farewell him in style in company with a number of our members. Special thanks to Jason Hayes and PwC for putting on the function.
