The Australia-Japan Foundation’s annual Grant Program for 2015-16 (as well as up to six Publication Awards capped at AUD10,000 each) is currently open. An online application is available for both. There are 6 priority areas for funding.

Of particular interest for business is the Economics and Trade category. This is defined broadly as projects which “support the Government’s economic diplomacy objectives following the entry into force of the Japan Australia Economic Partnership Agreement and increase public awareness of the mutual importance of the Australia-Japan economic relationship.”
