Webinar | Japan-Australia Investment Report 2022

On Wednesday 29 March 2023, the AJBCC held an exclusive webinar launching Herbert Smith Freehills’ latest report Japan-Australia Investment Report 2022: Decarbonisation and Energy Security.

Authors Ian Williams and Damien Roberts of HSF introduced the report, before being joined from Tokyo by the President of JETRO, Kazushige Nobutani, who provided a Japanese perspective on the importance of Australia as an investment destination, and by Austrade’s General Manager for North Asia, Elizabeth Cox, who provided an Australian perspective from Tokyo.

Professor Veronica Taylor from the Australian National University moderated the session.

The webinar was conducted in English, and included an opportunity for Q&A.
