Leadership, Culture & Connection Through Japanese Tea Traditions

Join us for a unique cultural experience hosted by the Australia Japan Businesswomen Network (AJBWN) in collaboration with PwC, as part of the JABCC 62nd Annual Joint Business Conference.

This event brings together the elegance of the Japanese tea ceremony and the deep cultural wisdom of First Nations bush tea traditions to explore leadership, resilience, and connection across cultures.

Featuring:

  • Japanese tea ceremony performance presented by Kissako Cha Know You
  • Guest speaker Sharon Brindley, proud Yamatji/Noongar woman and founder of Jala Jala Treats, sharing the story of bush tea and Indigenous knowledge
  • A cross-cultural tea experience and storytelling
  • Networking with leaders from across the Australia–Japan business community
  • A showcase of products from a First Nations owned company

This is more than a tea ceremony – it’s a celebration of cultural and gender diversity, Indigenous leadership, and the power of tradition in modern business.
