We are delighted to introduce the newest addition to the AJBCC Board of Directors:
Dr Michael Easson AM FRICS FAICD – Executive Chairman and Co-founder, EG Funds Management
Dr Michael Easson is Executive Chairman and co-founder of EG Funds Management, which invests in most property classes, and of EGX which invests in start-ups.
He is a past Director of ING Real Estate Australia, Macquarie Goodman, Macquarie Infrastructure Group, the Australia-Japan Foundation, and has chaired or served as a director of businesses in water, utilities, rail, light rail, apparel, office material, finance, and insurance and other industries.
He has two PhDs from UNSW and Melbourne Universities respectively, and a MSc (with Distinction) from Oxford, as well as completing studies at the Harvard and Stanford Business Schools. He published book chapters comparing Australia and Japan in industrial relations. Over thirty years ago, he was Vice President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions.
