Brindabella & Company is a boutique Merchant Bank focused on developing Australia’s national resilience. It has four key areas of focus:

Within its four pillars, Brindabella & Company invests in and advises companies that are typically TRL 4-7 while also mobilising capital for critical infrastructure.

The Brindabella Team also believes that Rugby, as one of only two truly global football codes, can be leveraged to promote and grow commercial interaction among the four JAUKUS partners.

Obayashi Corporation was founded in January 1892 and incorporated in December 1936. The company has been in business for 133 years.

With its head office in Tokyo, Japan, Obayashi Corporation has bases in 16 countries overseas and 146 group companies. Its business activities include domestic and international construction work, regional development, urban development, marine development, environmental improvement, and other construction-related businesses such as engineering, management, consulting, and real estate.

Obayashi Corporation started operations in Australia in the mid-1980s, working on the Waterfront Place Complex in Brisbane, followed by the M2 Motorway and Sydney Olympic Stadium in Sydney, and Melbourne City Link in Melbourne. After a temporary hiatus, they worked on three commercial buildings in Parramatta Square and are currently working on the Atlassian Central Building. They are committed to contributing to a sustainable society by utilising their technical and financial expertise.

Daisuke Iwata, General Manager of the Obayashi Corporation Australian branch, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Sydney, NSW.

Veritas Tech specialises in AI, Blockchain/DLT, and IoT, driving trust, transparency, and efficiency in the climate and energy sectors. By leveraging Blockchain/DLT and AI, they enhance ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, ensuring secure, verifiable, and efficient data management in the climate, sustainability, energy and circular economy sectors. Through strategic joint-ventures with their Tokyo-based partner, they foster industry-academic collaboration, working with universities and enterprises to advance research, innovation, and the commercialisation of AI and blockchain solutions. Their mission is to bridge the gap between emerging technology and real-world impact, accelerating the global transition toward sustainable digital transformation.

Bob (Weihai) He, Founder of Veritas Tech, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Melbourne, VIC.
