Day 3 of the 61st Annual Australia-Japan Joint Business Conference

Day 3 of the 61st Annual Australia-Japan Joint Business Conference

The final day brought two powerful plenary sessions: one on the critical issue of collaborating on energy transition, followed by a thought-provoking discussion on building a resilient future led by the AJBCC-JABCC Future Leaders.

During the closing ceremony, JABCC Chairman Michiaki Hirose and AJBCC President Peter Grey shared the joint statement and announced next year’s conference location and dates — plan to be in Perth, Western Australia on 5-7 October 2025!

The conference concluded with a lunchtime panel session led by the AJBCC’s new Major Events and Sports Advisory Committee, on the role of major events in strengthening Australia-Japan ties.

Interested delegates were then had the option of site visits to Toho Gas & Kirin Brewery in Nagoya, or to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and the Toyota Museum—perfectly capping off an inspiring few days.

A big thank you to our record-breaking 250+ Australian delegates who joined us in Japan! We’re excited now to start preparing for another exceptional conference in Western Australia!
