Our mission is to elevate the profile of Australia-Japan collaboration in science, technology and innovation and support the people who are transforming the bilateral relationship through these partnerships.Kaoru Nishinakagawa, Chief Advisor, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Sydney, NSW.Baseball Australia (BA) is the governing body for all levels of baseball throughout the country. Primarily responsible for the development of the sport; administration, conduct, participation, high performance and promotion, BA works with seven (7) State and Territory associations and 600+ clubs across the country. BA also acts as the international liaison and represents Australian Baseball at all International forums and is the major stakeholder of the Australian Baseball League (ABL).

Team Australia is world renowned for its performance on the international baseball stage. The popularity of the team in the baseball mad country of Japan has positioned BA as one of the premiere Australian sporting teams in Japan. BA will continue to use this status to provide a platform for Business to Business and Government to Government relationship building opportunities.Glenn Williams OLY, Chief Executive Officer, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Sydney, NSW. Dataminr’s pioneering real-time AI platform discovers the earliest signals of events, risks and threats from within +1 million publicly available information sources to help you make critical decisions and respond with speed and confidence to physical and cyber risks.

Dataminr is known for pioneering multi-modal fusion AI, which synthesizes text in 150 languages, images, video, sound and machine-generated sensor data. In recent years, Dataminr has integrated Generative AI for real-time event description and launched ReGenAI (Regenerative AI), a breakthrough form of Generative AI that automatically regenerates in real time as events unfold.

Dataminr actively works with a number of clients in Japan across multiple sectors and is growing the number of partnerships to serve the market. Increasing demand to manage a broad range of risks is driving interest in what AI can do for operations, so we are regularly in Japan every six to eight weeks.Tracey Gosling, Regional Vice President, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Brisbane, QLD.Kintsugi is a boutique consulting firm at the forefront of renewable energy and hydrogen leadership, focusing on workforce transition, business decarbonisation strategy, industry engagement and strategic partnerships and project development. Our services include industry engagement, marketing strategy and leadership that supports the renewable energy transition through bespoke solutions tailored to both private and not-for-profit sectors. Kintsugi is actively engaged in fostering international collaborations, particularly between Australia and Japan, where we are exploring opportunities to drive joint hydrogen projects, discover new technology, share knowledge, identify opportunities to partner and build frameworks that support the global energy transition.Heidi Breen, Managing Director, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Brisbane, QLD.Gullivers Sport Travel Pty Limited, a member of the Tulla Group since 2021, has been operating in the travel industry for more than 40 years. The company specialises in customised tours for educational purposes, clubs, and teams, covering interests such as sports, performing arts, STEM, languages, and cultural experiences. Additionally, Gullivers caters to corporate clients with specialised interest tours and designs itineraries for a wide range of global events. One major event on Gullivers’ schedule for 2025 is Expo 2025 Osaka. We presently have a number of tours tailored for a myriad of interests from horse racing/agricultural themes to schools and special interest groups keen to experience expo and participate in the Australian Pavilion to showcase the best in our talent pool for performing arts. With over 4,000 tours completed worldwide, including our most successful Rugby World Cup ever with over 4,500 satisfied customers heading over to France in 2023, Gullivers strive to continually enhance their offerings and deliver seamless travel experiences to their valued clients.Kevin Maloney, Chairman and Director, will be the AJBCC nominated representative and is based in Sydney, NSW.Port of Newcastle is Australia’s deepwater global gateway, the largest on the nation’s East Coast.
