The inaugural webinar “Unveiling the Japan Opportunity” was hosted on 8 August, and explored Japan’s tech, innovation, and startup scene, highlighting why Japan is an increasingly attractive destination for innovators, and how Australian startups can succeed in Japan.
A special thanks to Miyabi Ventures, UACJ Corporation, PwC Australia, Innovation Dojo and Austrade for their support, and to out speakers Jason Hayes of PwC and Chair of the ITS Advisory Committee, Elizabeth Coz of Austrade, Joshua Flannery of Innovation Dojo, Tomohito Kurosaki of UACJ Corporation, Kenichi Sugi of Miyabi Ventures and Marisa Watanabe of UNSW.
Our upcoming second webinar “Australia’s `Hidden Gem’ – Deep Tech” will be hosted on 3 September, and will dive into Australia’s deep tech sector, so join us to hear from Japanese venture capitalists on the potential they see here and explore pathways for tech commercialisation!
