The Australian Hydrogen Conference 2022 | Dinner

AJBCC hosted two events at the Australian Hydrogen Council Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre last week through our Clean Energy Transition Committee which highlighted the huge potential for Australia and Japan to work in partnership on developing new industries in the clean energy space.

The day started with a working breakfast where Special Adviser to the Government on Low Emissions Technology Dr Alan Finkel had set our minds racing with the possibilities for Australia-Japan partnership opened up by the race to make clean hydrogen commercially viable, from green steel to clean planes.

The dinner provided a fine opportunity for informal networking to end the conference. Cohosted and sponsored by the SA Government, Artist Peter Hall’s fabulous production “Pilgrims” highlighted to an audience including SA Governor Frances Adamson, Ministers Nick Champion and Tom Koutsantonis, Consul-general Junji Shimada and a top Australia-Japan business group the depth and humanity of ties between our countries – a great basis of trust on which to build new endeavours.
